VERB TENSES
In English, we can create a wide variety of verb forms. There are twelve commonly recognized English verb forms.

The Simple Tense merely reveals when action occurs without respect to how long the activity lasted or will last, and whether it will continue to occur in the future.

  • Simple Past Action/existence that occurred at some time before the present moment.
  • Simple Present Action/existence that occurs at the present moment.
  • Simple Future Action/existence that will occur at some time after the present moment.
