Azeri is much more precise that English in describing the location of a place or object.  Besides using case endings with location words hara, bura, ora, other words are being used in conjunction such as:

kim -         who

kimə -        to whom

kimdən –   from whom

nəyi -          what particular thing, etc.

Case endings used in the questions, usually repeated in the answer.

For example:    Mehmanxana har(a)dadır?

Mehmanxana bur(a)dadır?

Location words:                                    hara (where)               bura (here)       ora (there)

Dative case” to”                                haraya                          buraya             oraya

Locative case”at”, “in”,”on”           har(a)da                       bur(a)da           or(a)da

Ablative case “from”                         har(a)dan                     bur(a)dan         or(a)dan

Objective case                                     haranı                          buranı              oranı

Genitive case “of”                              haranın                        buranın            oranın
