Mission Statement
The JBLM Language and Culture Center develops, presents & supports Global, MOS and Mission Language training for the US Army AC/RC Soldiers. Our ability to sustain Commander and Linguist/Soldiers' satisfaction is based on our continuing effort to exeed expectations through state of the art teaching methods, integration of technology and flexibility to meet commanders' training and readiness requirements.
Formal Language Training
TALP funds are available for AC/MI Linguist for Refresher Training. Other units may use their unit training funds to request formal language classes for pre-deployment language familiarization and cultural awareness training. Course lengths and Program of Instruction(POIs) are determined by mission requirements.
About Us
The JBLM Language and Culture Center is the primary center for the delivery of mission essential language services for JBLM and for the USAR/ARNG units in the western region of the CONUS. It serves the following customers: Military Intelligence AC/RC Linguists, USAR/ARNG Linguists and deployment units.
